Colin qualified as a solicitor with Wilde Sapte (now Denton Wilde Sapte) specialising in employment law before moving to Spain in 1992. He saw the demand for high quality, Legal English training for non-native lawyers and wrote the first Legal English course which he gave in Pamplona, Spain. He then moved to Madrid and expanded the business rapidly whilst developing his reputation as a highly innovative and effective teacher.

Colin is also managing director of InterLex Sport S.L.

Kaisor qualified as a solicitor with Lovells before moving to Clyde & Co specialising as an insurance litigator. He moved to Spain in January 2001 where he worked at a Spanish law firm as well as teaching for InterLex Legal English.

    Victoria qualified as a barrister before moving to Madrid in 1999. Prior to this gained experience in mini pupillages at various Chambers in Liverpool including 14 Castle Street and Corn Exchange Chambers. In Madrid she taught at various Madrid Universities and at the Madrid Bar Association before moving back to the UK in 2003 involved and working as a consultant for InterLex Legal English writing English legal courses for foreign lawyers/students, setting up web based interactive courses, organizing residential intensive legal courses in the UK for foreign lawyers and legal translations.

    Prior to qualifying as a barrister Melanie worked at the Crown Prosecution Service assisting prosecuting counsel. After being called to the Bar in 1990 she joined an intellectual property practice and specialised in trade mark law. She worked as a trade mark attorney in private practice and industry until moving to Spain in April 1997. She took the CELTA course at International House later that year and has had varied experience in teaching English as a foreign language.

    Rebecca Lowe, Administration Manager

    Rebecca arrived in Madrid in December 2001 after having studied the Spanish language in Britain for two years. After working as a Secretary for four years she arrived looking for a new challenge with Interlex Legal English. She is responsible for the organisation of the courses and the development of new course material.
